How It Works
The calculator first adds your sale price and shipping charged together to get the total transaction amount, since eBay applies its final value fee to this combined figure. For amounts up to $7,500, the fee is calculated as: Final Value Fee = Total Amount à Category Rate. For any portion above $7,500, a reduced rate of 2.35% applies to that excess amount. A fixed per-order fee is then added, along with any Promoted Listings cost calculated as a percentage of the total, and an international fee if selected. All fees are summed and subtracted from the total transaction amount to give you the estimated net proceeds you'll actually receive.
