Key Features
True Batch Processing
Upload and resize dozens of images in one go. Set dimensions once and the tool applies them across your entire batch automatically.
Per-Image Aspect Ratio Lock
Each image in your batch keeps its own proportions when the lock is enabled â so portrait and landscape images both resize correctly.
ZIP Download
Download all resized images as a single ZIP file. No clicking each one individually â get your entire batch in one tap.
100% Browser-Based Privacy
Every image is processed locally using the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded to any server â your files stay on your device.
Social Media Presets
One-click presets for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Full HD, and e-commerce. Perfect dimensions without memorising any numbers.
Progress Tracking
A live progress bar shows exactly how many images have been processed. Each thumbnail updates with a status badge when done.
How It Works
The Bulk Image Resizer processes each file in sequence using the browser's HTML5 Canvas API. Here's the internal pipeline:
1. File queuing â When you select files, the FileReader API reads each one into memory as a data URL. Thumbnail previews are generated from the same data without any server round-trip.
2. Sequential canvas processing â For each image, a hidden <canvas> is resized to your target dimensions. If aspect ratio lock is on, the target height is computed as Math.round(targetWidth / (origWidth / origHeight)) for that specific image.
3. High-quality interpolation â ctx.imageSmoothingQuality = 'high' is set before drawing to produce smooth results, especially when scaling down large photos.
4. Export and ZIP â Each canvas is exported via toDataURL(). Individual results can be saved directly. The ZIP is assembled client-side using the JSZip-compatible Blob approach â base64 data URLs are converted to binary blobs and bundled together.
5. Progress updates â After each image completes, the progress bar width and status badges update in real time so you can see exactly where processing stands.
Practical Examples
đŽđŗ E-Commerce Seller â Flipkart / Meesho / Amazon India
You've photographed 30 products and need all images at exactly 1000Ã1000 px in JPEG format. Upload all 30, select the E-Commerce 1K preset, hit Resize All, and download the ZIP. Done in under a minute â what used to take hours in Photoshop.
đŽđŗ Social Media Manager â Instagram & WhatsApp (India)
Creating a weekly content calendar with 10 posts? Upload all graphics at once, apply the Instagram Square 1080Ã1080 preset, and export. Each image in the batch gets the right dimensions without touching each one manually.
đ WordPress / Shopify Store Owner
Blog posts and product pages load faster when images are the right size. Upload your full media library batch, resize to 1200Ã628 in WebP format, and replace your sluggish originals with optimised files that improve Core Web Vitals scores.
đŽđŗ School / College Project Submission (India)
Many Indian university portals require student photos and document scans at exact pixel dimensions. Bulk resize a set of scanned documents and photos to the specified dimensions before submission â avoiding repeated upload rejections.
What Is a Bulk Image Resizer?
A bulk image resizer is a tool that lets you change the pixel dimensions of multiple images simultaneously, applying the same settings â width, height, format â to your entire selection in one operation. Instead of opening and exporting each image individually in software like Photoshop or Paint, you process a whole folder's worth of images in seconds.
This is particularly valuable for e-commerce sellers, social media managers, web developers, and anyone who regularly needs consistent image dimensions across a set of files. The StoreDropship Bulk Image Resizer handles this entirely in your browser â no account, no software, no file uploads to external servers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tool free to use?
Yes, basic usage is available at no cost. Free users can run the tool a set number of times per day. Registered users and Pro members get higher daily limits and character allowances. The core feature works exactly the same for everyone.
How many images can I resize at once?
You can upload and resize multiple images in one batch. The practical limit depends on your browser's available memory. Most modern devices handle 20â50 images comfortably in a single run.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never leave your device, so there is no privacy risk.
What image formats are supported for upload?
You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP files. Output can be saved as JPEG, PNG, or WebP.
Can I download all resized images at once?
Yes. After processing, click Download All as ZIP to get all your resized images bundled in a single ZIP file, ready to extract and use.
Does the aspect ratio lock work for all images in the batch?
Yes. When aspect ratio lock is enabled, each image in the batch maintains its own original proportions. The tool calculates the correct height for each image based on the width you specify.
Will resizing reduce image quality?
Scaling images down generally preserves quality well. Enlarging beyond the original resolution may soften details. For best results, always resize from the original high-quality source file.
Can I use this for e-commerce product images?
Absolutely. This tool is ideal for preparing batches of product images for Flipkart, Amazon India, Meesho, or Shopify, where uniform dimensions are required across all listings.
Does this work on mobile and tablet devices?
Yes. The tool is fully responsive and works in modern mobile browsers. Processing large batches on mobile may be slower depending on device memory.
What output format is best for websites?
WebP offers the best balance of quality and file size for web use. JPEG is ideal for photographs, and PNG is best when you need transparency support.
Can I remove individual images before resizing?
Yes. Each uploaded image shows a remove button in the preview queue so you can remove any file before processing the batch.
Is there a file size limit per image?
There is no hard per-file size limit in the tool itself â it depends on your browser memory. Files under 10MB per image are processed smoothly on most devices.
